plays a significant role in shaping the direction of development of enforcement law in Poland. The journal publishes articles of a high standard in terms of content and originality, which are cited and utilised by other researchers, as well as in the case law of the ordinary courts and the Supreme Court.

History

“Review of Enforcement Law” has been published continuously since 1993, initially as “Problems with Judicial Enforcement”, from 1999 as “Enforcement Issues”, and since January 2003 as “Review of Enforcement Law”, and has been published from the outset by Currenda Publishing House in Sopot. The journal is published quarterly and does not issue special editions.

Scope of coverage

The “Review of Enforcement Law” publishes studies, articles, dissertations, commentaries and reviews in the field of:

enforcement proceedings and the enforcement carried out within their framework,
the structure of enforcement authorities, including the history of the profession of court bailiff and other enforcement authorities,
comparative studies of foreign enforcement law systems, including the systems of enforcement authorities,
bankruptcy and restructuring proceedings,
the enforcement of security for claims through enforcement proceedings.

Thanks to its specialised focus, “Review of Enforcement Law” serves as a forum for discussion of issues which, due to their detailed nature, are often not the subject of in-depth analysis in general-interest legal journals.

Around 45 academic articles are published in the “Review of Enforcement Law” each year.

Interest in accessing the journal is steadily growing, which translates into strong recognition of the journal and an increase in the number of citations to articles published in PPE.

The editorial team of “Review of Enforcement Law” applies high standards regarding the accessibility, originality and substantive quality of the academic articles it publishes:

the standards and recommendations of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE),

Archiving

The journal is subject to a regular process of creating electronic backups.
