Rules for Authors

  1. Only humans can be authors of scientific texts. GenAI tools, including chatbots such as ChatGPT, cannot be considered authors/co-authors or be cited as authors.
  2. Authors bear full responsibility for the content of the submitted manuscript, including all fragments created using GenAI tools, and are therefore responsible for any violations of publication ethics.
  3. Authors who use AI tools when writing texts, collecting and analyzing data are required to disclose honestly and transparently which GenAI tool was used, how and to what extent it was used, and how it influenced the text.
  4. Detailed information on the use of AI tools should be included in the abstract and in the initial sections of the text, e.g. in a separate section entitled “Declaration of GenAI use in the writing process”, so that the study can be replicated and the reliability of the results confirmed.
  5. Authors must be aware of the limitations of generative artificial intelligence tools, including chatbots such as ChatGPT, resulting from bias, errors and gaps in knowledge.
