dr Filip Manikowski, Department of Civil Procedure, Faculty of Law and Administration, Cardinal Stefan Wyszynski University in Warsaw; ORCID: 0000-0001-6859-9230
The article is aimed at analysing the potential to carry out enforcement of cash benefits from virtual entities that are related to computer games. Virtual entities may presently constitute a major part of debtor’s assets. Such assets may not be omitted in enforcement proceedings. Nevertheless, enforcement against virtual entities does not constitute a common practice, which results primarily from the insufficient awareness among a large part of the society, including bailiffs and creditors, that virtual entities may constitute assets. The analysis explains what virtual entities are. Next, the admissibility of enforcement against virtual entities has been analysed and the course of enforcement has been presented.
