Review of Enforcement Law

Review of Enforcement Law

“Review of Enforcement Law” is the only specialist legal journal in Poland devoted mainly to legal issues related to court enforcement. “Review of Enforcement Law” is published quarterly.

History

The journal has a tradition spanning over 30 years. It has been published continuously since 1993, first as “Problems of Judicial Enforcement”, since 1999 as “Problems of Enforcement”, and since January 2003 as “Review of Enforcement Law” and has been published by Currenda Publishing House in Sopot since its inception.

Mission and purposes

The journal “Review of Enforcement Law” contributes significantly to the development of enforcement law. The aim of this journal is to publish original and up-to-date research results, to create a forum for scientific debate and to disseminate legal science while respecting the principles of authorial and editorial ethics.

Thematic scope

The “Review of Enforcement Law” publishes studies, articles, dissertations, commentaries and reviews on the system of enforcement authorities, enforcement proceedings and enforcement carried out within its framework. There is also room for studies devoted to the history of court bailiffs and other enforcement authorities, as well as comparative law articles on existing enforcement law systems around the world, including enforcement authority systems. “Review of Enforcement Law” also presents academic studies devoted to the issues of bankruptcy and restructuring proceedings, as well as the enforcement of claims through execution.

Reach for the “Review of Enforcement Law”

“Review of Enforcement Law” is aimed at all theorists and practitioners dealing with enforcement proceedings, in particular representatives of the academic world and all legal professions. The high substantive level of the studies published in the journal is of significant value to the development of legal science, especially in the context of civil proceedings, and shapes and strengthens the opinion-forming character of the periodical. “Review of Enforcement Law” often discusses highly specialised issues in the field of enforcement proceedings that are not covered in other periodicals, which increases the importance of the journal as a forum for the exchange of views and experiences and as a tool for disseminating knowledge on procedural issues that cause interpretation problems in enforcement practice.

Publishing ethics

The journal “Review of Enforcement Law” is adapted to the highest publication standards. Articles are assigned a unique digital identifier for electronic documents (DOI). The journal applies the COPE publication ethics guidelines. Detailed guidelines have been developed for authors interested in publishing in “Review of Enforcement Law”. All academic texts submitted to the journal are subject to peer review.
